NEW DATES FOR CUP MEETING
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. September 1.
The New Zealand Racing Conference has approved a< change of dates for the Canterbury Jockey Club’s New Zealand Cup meeting from November 6, 10, and 13 to October 30. November 6 and November 10.
The Banks Peninsula Racing Club will now race on October 23,' so that the Canterbury club can open its cup meeting on October 30.
The change was sought when it was announced that the General Election would be held on November 13, the concluding day of the New- Zealand Cup meeting.
