Applications are invited for the award of the 1955 Research Fellowships. These may be awarded to University graduates in science for the purpose of carrying out research in any branch of science in New Zealand or overseas. Applicants should have at least two years’ postgraduate research experience, and should preferably be under 30 years of age. The Fellowships have a value of £6OO per annum,. The following amounts are also payable: up to £5O for books, fees, etc.; up to £l5O for travel to and from New Zealand, and an allowance of £lOO per annum if the holder of a Fellowship ; is married. Fellowships are tenable for . one year, but may be extended to two years with’ the approval of the Minister i of Scientific and Industrial Research.
