LETTER OF THANKS FROM N.S.W. TEAM
A letter of thanks from the manager of the New South Wales country touring team (Mr H. Crowe) was received by the Canterbury Rugby Union’s management committee last evening. Mr Crowe said he wished to thank the union "for the manner in which it looked after us in our all-too-brief stay in Christchurch.” Hg hoped that some day Canterbury's hospitality could be repaid when a touring team visited Australia. The committee agreed to let the Canterbury Softball Association have the use of Rugby dressing sheds in North Haglev Park during the coming summer. A charge of £9 will be made by the union, the same as last season.
