French Casualties In Indo-China

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11 p.m.) HONG KONG, Aug. 30. During the eight years ot the IndoChina war, 466,172 troops of the French Union forces were killed, captured or surrendered to the Vietminh Army, the Vietminh radio announced today. The radio said equipment captured included 255 cannons.

The Vietminh destroyed 435 planes, 603 ships or motor-launches, and 337 locomotives. t ■ .
