TERRITORIAL CAMPS

DATES ANNOUNCED The dates when territorial camp; will be held In the coming camping -season havfe been announced by the Army. Nearly all South Island units will go to the new camp now being completed at Lake Tekapo. In each case those territorials who are unable to attend the compulsory parades held by their units during the year will form advance and rear parties entering camp about three days early and leaving about three days after the others. The units which will camp at Tekapo, and the periods for which they will be there, are as follows: Ist Battalion, Canterbury Regiment; 3rd Field Ambulance; and 3rd Infantry Brigade Light Aid Detachment: November 15 to 28. Sth Company, Royal New Zealand Army Service Corps: January 11 to January 24. 3rd Field Squadron: January 23 to February 6. 3rd Field Dressing Station: a section of the Technical Stores Platoon; Advanced Workshops Detachment of 3rd Infantry Workshops: January 28 to February 11. Ist Battalion, Nelson, Marlborough. West Coast Regiment: January 29 to February 11. Sth Independent Field Squadron: February 12 to 25. Ist Battalion, Otago, Southland Regiment; Ist Casualty Clearing Station; 3rd Mobile Dental Unit; Technical Stores Platoon (less one section); remainder of 3rd Infantry Workshops: February 14 to 27. 3rd field Regiment; 53rd Battery: March 2 to 15. 3rd Company, Royal New Zealand Army Service Corps: March 5 to 18. 3rd Armoured Regiment; 3rd General Hospital: March 18 to 31. The 63rd Light Anti-Aircraft Battery will camp at Waikouaiti from January 15 to 28, the 11th Coast Regiment at Godley Head from January 22 to February 4, the 151st Anti-Aircraft Battery at Godley Head from February 19 to March 4, and the Otago University, Medical Corps at Sutton from February 10 to 23.
