£319,712 HANDLED ON SATURDAY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 15. The Totalisator Agency Board yesterday handled investments totalling £319,712 ss, comprising £181,799 10s in win-and-place bets and £137,913 15s in doubles. Totals for individual meetings, with off-course substitutes, were as follows: Canterbury Jockey Club, £163,190. Hastings, £38,890 15s (Gold Drive). Rotorua, £71,293 10s (Lochain). Egmont- Wanganui, £26,096 10s (Sports Field). Thames, £20,241 10s (Auctioneer).
