12 of Second Schedule of the Tramways Act, 1908, and Section ? of the Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Act. 1926, as amended by the Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Act, 1932-33, Public Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Christchurch Transport Board to* apply for an Order-in-Council authorising it to remove the tramlines described below and to discontinue running services by tramcars thereon. (b) A double line of track Commencing at the south end df Route No. 0 (a) and running around the tramway shelter, re joining Route 0 (a) at the north end. (c) Two branch lines connecting the Lincoln road line with Route 0 ,(b) at the west side of Cathedral square. (d) A branch line connecting Route 0 (a) with Route 0 (b) at the north end of the Tramway Shelter. (e) A cross-over at the south end of Route 0 (b). (f) A double line joining the south end of Route 0 (a) and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction, and joining the New Brighton route at the east side of Cathedral square. (g) A branch line from Route 0 (f) into the Board’s Car-shed in Cathedral square. (h) A loop line from Route 0 (f) joining the south end of Route 0 (a). (1) A single line connecting the east end of Route 0 (f) with the north and of Route 0 (a). (j) A branch line connecting the east end of Route 0 (1) with Route 0 ’’(k) A branch line connecting the northwest end of Route 0 (i) with the north end of Route 0 (b). (l) A branch line connecting the “Out” bound track in Colombo street on Route 0 (a) with the north end of Route 0 (i). The aforesaid routes are more particularly shown on Plan L, 84. (m) A branch line connecting the east end of Route 0 (i) with the east end of Route 0 (f). (n) A crossover at the north and of Route 0 (b). PAPANUI LINE: Route No. 1: (a) From a point 220 links north of Cathedral square in Colombo street,'thence along Colombo street, Victoria street, and Papanui road and North road, terminating at the junction with Main North road and a balloon loop via Harewood road and Main North ■ road, a distance of 2 miles 64 chains, more or less, as more particularly described in Plans L. 288, L. 289, L. 290. CASHMERE LINE: Route No. 2: From a point 240 links south of Cathedral square, in Colombo street, thence along Colombo street to Cashmere road, thence along Cashmere road to the terminus at Hackthorne road, a distance of 3 miles 17 chains, more or less, as more particularly shown on Plans L. 291 and L. 292. SUMNER LINE: Route No. 3: From a point 80 links south of Cathedral Square in Colombo street, thence along Colombo street and High street to the intersection of Fitzgerald avenue, and along Fitzgerald avenue to Moor-i house ave., a distance of 73 chains , more or less, as shown on Plan L.297A.
