MALVERN FOOTBALLERS

Sir, —Much controversy has appeared in your columns recently about the merits of certain players and selections of country players, but results are the best proof of ability. Last Saturday Malvern held Ellesmere to a one point margin and could q-ite easily have won by a dropped goal a few minutes from time. How then does that work out with 13 players on the field for Ellesmere (all country players against town) while Malvern had no representation. Surely it does not make sen%e. There is little difference among any of them. Why not give them all a chance? It is good the reporters and the public do have a voice, if it is only through the paper Yours, etc., NO VOTE.
