RESIGNATION OF MR R. S. PIPER
TROTTING CONFERENCE HANDICAPPER
Mr R. S. Piper, who has been handicapper to the New Zealand Trotting Conference since May, 1953, has resigned his position. Mr Piper, who is to go into business in Christchurch, has been on the staff of the conference since 1946, when he was appointed assistant handicapper. Last year he was appointed handicapper, succeeding Mr A. R. Neilson, who had been appointed Racing Commissioner in Tasmania.
