INQUEST INTO ELDERLY WOMAN’S DEATH

Evidence of identification was heard by the Coroner (Mr E. B. E. Taylor) at an inquest yesterday morning into the death of Miss Edith May Early, aged 71, of 188 Peterborough street. The police found Miss Early unconscious in her home, where she lived alone, on Wednesday. She died at the Christchurch Public Hospital on Thursday. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
