Two Australians, Tribe and Livingston, and the New Zealander, Arnold, were the stars of Northamptonshire’s 359 for six declared against Pakistan on a docile wicket at Northampton today. Arnold made 79, Livingston 78, and Tribe 78. Pakistan employed eight bowlers but were unable to subdue the free-scoring batsmen. At the close of play, the Pakistanis had scored 5 without loss.
