Notice is hereby given that the Cheviot County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the 13th day of August, 1954, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £4OOO, for the purpose of purchasing Road Making Machinery. The security for such loan shall be a special rate of Three-tenths of One Penny in the £ on the rateable Unimproved Value of all rateable property in the County of Cheviot. It is not intended to levy or collect a rate and the financing of the loan will be met out of General Revenue. Any .person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit same in writing to the Cheviot County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
