Owner Wanted for Medals.— A cardboard box, containing four war medals and a number of Army badges, was . found a few days ago hidden in some scrub at the side of Bower avenue. The woman who found the box handed it to the police, but no theft of such a kind has been reported, nor has any claim been madp. The medals are the 193945 Service Star, the Italy Star, the New Zealand Service Medal, and the New Zealand Defence Medal. The badges include those of the Royal New Zealand Artillery, the Ist Infantry Battalion, New Zealand Regiment, the Hauraki Regiment, and the 10th North lOtago Rifles.
