PAKISTAN BEATS LANCASHIRE (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. July 13. Pakistan’s touring cricket team played good all-round cricket to snatch a thrilling six-wickets win over a strong Lancashire side at Manchester today. After dismissing Lancashire on the wearing pitch for 98, Pakistan scored 206 for four wickets in 195 minutes. Waqar Hassan (60) and Maqsood Ahmed (40) added 76 runs in 45 minutes for the third wicket. Hanif Mohammad made a/. In Lancashire’s innings, Shujauddm took five for 26, and Zulfiqar Ahmed fo’Ji for 43.
