DEATH AFTER DRINK OF LINIMENT (New Zealand Press Associattc > DUNEDIN, July 13. Judith Ann Gillett, aged two years, died .in the Dunedin Hospital at 6.45 a.m. today. She was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after swallowing liniment at her home at St. Clair. WOMAN SERIOUSLY BURNT (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 13. A married woman was seriously burnt when her nightdress caught fire from an electric radiator early this morning. The woman, Mrs Mary Dodds, of Benafes street, Khandallah, was wearing a flannelette nightdress when the accident occurred. It is thought that Mrs Dodds was burnt some hours before she was discovered by a neighbour, Mrs U. Boyle. Mrs Dodds was taken by ambulance to the Wellington Public Hospital, suffering from severe shock and extensive burns to the body. Her condition at noon was reported by the hospital as serious. * WOMAN INJURED A woman was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital yesterday morning with head injuries suffered in an accident between two motor-cars at the intersection of Grove road and Harman street, Addington. She is Mrs E. M. Sandford, of Aorangi road. Last evening her condition was reported to be satisfactory.
