ROXBURGH POWER SCHEME
DEBATE ON FRIDAY LIKELY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 13. If the present Address-in-Reply debate in the House of Representatives ends on Thursday as expected, the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) intends to hold the promised debate on the Roxburgh hydro-electric scheme on Friday. Mr Holland promised this special debate early in the session. The debate will be opened by the Minister in charge of the State Hydroelectric Department (Mr W. S. Goosman), who is expected to announce details of the new contract signed between the Government and the contractors last month.
