COMMUNIST CHINA
hi? I m’tod t t aSt a Mr -?Y? bb has m ade up toLTu °Communist China wltt= h t e United Nations; what has Mr Watts to say about that? Has probable trade any influence with the decision? Senator Knowland and Mr Dulles threaten that “if Communist China is permitted to join the United Nations the United States will withdraw.” What a relief that would be for the United Nations and how much more freely the world could breathe! The “free” world might then be free of American domination. With France and Italy reluctant to sign for the European Defence Community and Britain not enthusiastic. Mr Dulles and his gang are not happy about the world-wide opposition to United States war-mongering. Ibey are not even sure that American financed and equipped Japan will continue to do what is expected. Germany is anybody's guess.—Yours, etc, t , F - ELLIOTT. July 12, 1954.
