Czech Demand For English Classics
(From a Reuter Correspondent) . , VIENNA. Although all that is modern in the West, including England, is still frowned upon by the regime in Czechoslovakia, there is a distinct cult for the honouring of English classical writers, according to reports reaching here. In Czechoslovak newspapers one day recently, it was possible to find no less than three articles in praise of the giants of English literature of the past.
