Issued at 9 p.m. by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, and dealing with the • 27 hours following the time of issue, is:— Situation: an anti-cyclone is moving U on to central New Zealand from the Tasman Sea, and pressure is relatively » low to both the north and south of the country. Forecast: light to moder- ' ate winds, variable or mainly westj erly; weather fair to fine; tempera- • tores cool to moderate. Outlook for Tuesday: fair. WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the - West Coast ©f the South Island:— Light variable winds; weather fine to fair in the north, cloud slowly increasing in the south; moderate'temperatures. Outlook for Tuesday: fair in the north, showers in the south. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather in Christchurch yesterday was fine and sunny, after a frost of 5.2 degrees. There was a light south-west wind. L At midnight, the sky was clear, and ' a light west-north-west wind was blowing. The temperature was 30.1 degrees.
