(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 15. The Minister in charge of the State Hydro-electric Department (Mr W. S. Goosman) said tonight that the new line and sub-station connecting Buller with the main South Island system marked yet another stage in the linking up of the various parts of the South Island At a later stage, the West Coast of the South Island would also be electrically joined to the Nel-son-Marlborough system by a new line already under construction and which would serve to make power from the new Braeburn station available to the whole of the north-western section of the South Island, said Mr Goosman.
