Money Stolen from Shop.— About £6 was taken from a till in the adjoining shop when the house of Mr A. W. Roper, at 9 Normans road was entered by a window between 7.45 p.m. and 9.45 p.m. on Saturday. In the house itself drawers were turned out and the beds and other furnishings were disarranged. Nothing was taken except the money fr3m the shop, and nothing else in the shop appears to have been interfered with. The intruder is believed to have left in a hurry.
