No Commitment By N.Z.

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 15. The Minister of External Affairs (Mr T. C. Webb) said tonight that he had "never heard of any suggestion to form an Anzac corps to fight in IndoChina.” Mr Webb emphasised that no commitments were entered into at the recent Washington military talks, the nature of which was purely exploratory. The Chief of the General Staff (Major-General W. G. Gentry) was now on his way back to New Zealand and he would report to the Cabinet on the matters discussed at Washington.
