KAWERAU WORKERS TO BE PAID MORE
(New Zealand Press Association) „ AUCKLAND, June 13. Protracted negotiations have resulted in a common wage agreement extending to June 30, 1955, for the 1100-odd workers on the Kawerau newsprint project.
Overtime rates have been equalised and the men will receive a pay increase of about Ijd an hour.
