£297,622 HANDLED ON SATURDAY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 13. Investments with the Totalisator Agency Board on yesterday’s race meetings amounted to £297,622 15s, comprising win-and-place bets of £167,333 40s and doubles totalling £130,289 ss. Figures for the individual meetings, with off-course substitutes, were:— Auckland, £128,675 (Peter Boy-Ra-reka bracket). Dunedin, £42,375 (Wayren). Manawatu, £84,139 10s (King’s Fair). Ashburton, £42,433 5s (Stadium Chief).
