ROADS BOARD SUBSIDY

COUNTY COUNCILS’ QUALIFICATION County qualified for subsidy from the National Roads Board on their general rates and on special, ratej levied for roading purposes, but not on rates levied for such bodies as hospital boards, said Mr W. F. Young, deputy-chairman of the board. Mr Young was asked to comment on a reported statement of Mr F. W.
