TRAWLER STILL AGROUND

FISH CARGO SALVAGED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 10. The 158-ton trawler Phyllis is still hard and fast on the beach at Waikanae, where went aground early on Tuesday. Today, members of the crew were busy salvaging the vessel’s cargo of fish for transport to Wellington. The owners, Cook Strait Fisheries, Ltd., say that the final decision about refloating the ship rests with the insurance company. It appears fairly certain, however, that the Phyllis will be left where she lies.
