Record Claimed For Canberra Jet
(Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, June 5. An official record is claimed for a Royal Air Force Canberra jet bomber which flew from London to Rome today in Ihr 44min. The official record, now held by a Comet jetliner—lhr 59mta 37sec—was established in March, ’950.
