Queen To Be Patron Of Olympic Games

(Rec. 11 p.m.) CANBERRA, June 4. The Minister for the Interior (Mr Wilfred Kent Hughes) announced today that the GovernorGeneral (Sir William Slim) received advice that the Queen accepted with great pleasure the office of Patron-in-Chief of the 1956 Olympic Games to be held in Melbourne.
