(New Zealand Press Association) c, xi , TIMARU, June 4. ine South Island skeet championship was held at the Timaru Gun Club s grounds at Washdyke today, A light wind and drizzle made conditions difficult. D. Wareham (Blenheim) was first with the only possible of 25 birds D. Davison. S. Marston, and C. Malzard (Canterbury) all shot 22, and L G Taylor (Oamaru) shot 21. In the shoot off for second and third places for th* 1 championship, Davison (21) was second, Malzard (19) third, and Marston (18) was fourth.
