PAKISTAN DRAWS WITH DEVONSHIRE (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, June 3. Paeal Mahmood, captain of the Pakistan cricket tourists against Devonshire, tried every bowler except himself in an attempt to force an innings defeat today. At stumps the Devonshire last pair were still together and the match was left drawn. Scores:—Pakistan, first innings 396 for seven declared. Devonshire, first innings 177 (Featherstonhaugh 52, Bloy 47; Mahmood Hussain three for 32, Shujauddin three for 32, Mohammad Aslam three for 43) and 160 for nine (Cooper 48; Shujauddin four for -42, Mahmood Hussain two for 29).
