Kainga Water Charges.—The North Canterbury Catchment Board has approved .a request by the Kainga Settlers’ Association to increase its water charge from 15s to £1 a year, Starting next year. The association is sinking a new well and has found that the present charge is not sufficient to meet its commitments.
