Contracts were signed today for Robert Cohen, the French holder of the European bantam-weight title, and Chamrem Singkitrat, the Siamese champion of the Orient, to meet in Bangkok on August 22 for the vacant world bantam-weight championSh This was announced by Nat Fleischer, the well-known American boxing writer, who was intermediary in the negotiations for the Siamese Government, the pro-
moters of the contest. This is the first time in modem history that a government is promoting a championship fight for which its Ambassador was requested to sign contracts on behalf of the fighter.
