Emigration from Malta.— Britain is to provide up to £lOO,OOO »to help Malta with a programme of increased emigration, Mr Oliver Lyttelton, the Colonial Secretary, told the House. He said that Malta had a difficult longterm economic problem, which could only be solved by emigration.—London, June 2.
