Inquest Into Death Of Prince Nicholas

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 30. An inquest was held at Slough, Buckinghamshire, today on Prince Nicholes of Jugoslavia, aged 25, nephew of the Duchess of Kent, who was killed when his motor-car overturned in a ditch recently. The Coroner said: “It was unfortunate there-was water in the ditch, because but for that we might not be here today.” Rescuers were unable to lift the car off the Prince, who drowned before a breakdown van arrived. The Duchess of Kent’s secretary (Mr Alan Hay), giving evidence, said the Prince was a very experienced driver, used to handling fast cars.
