COMPETITION FOR FAT LAMBS

ASHBURTON FARMER’S SUCCESS Advice has been received by ,the New Zealand Meat .Producers’ Board from its British representative, that Mr P. H. Olorenshaw, of Ashburton, has been awarded first place for the best individual pen in the South Island •In the district fat lamb competition. Mid-Canterbury was also awarded first place and the shield, for the best district group in the South Island. The following were the placings:— Best individual tens, South Island.— P. H. Olorenshaw (Ashburton) 1, Kennedy Bros. (Invercargill). 2, A. G. Regan (Gore) 3. Best district group, South Island.— Mid-Canterbury 1 and shield, Eastern Southland 2, Southland 3.
