N.Z. OFFICER BACK FROM KOREA

FORMER COMMANDER OF 16TH REGIMENT (New Zealand Press Association) „ , , WELLINGTON, April 30. Colonel T. Burns returned to New Zealand, today in the Monowai after serving for 15 months as commander, of the 16th New Zealand Field Regiment in Korea. He said New Zealand troops were all well and comfortable: They were camped near the front line north of Inchon, and had lately been busy helping to prepare the defence line. Major exercises had now started, first on brigade level and then on divisional level. There appeared to be no likelihood of the regiment being withdrawn from Korea in the near future, said Colonel Burns.
