KENTUCKY DERBY TO GRANDSON OF HYPERION Determine, at 4 to 1, won the 10 0,000 dollars Kentucky Derby at Louisville. Determine beat Hastyroad by n length, with Hasseyampa third, two lengths and k half back. • . A field of 18 contested the race, which, was the 80th annual running of the Kentucky Derby. Determine is by Alibhai. a very successful son of Hyperion at the stud in the United States. Alibhai stands at the famous Spendthrift Farm in- Kentucky along with the Australian horses Bemborough, and Shannon. Nasrallah’s brother. Nizami H, and Royal Charger, a three-quarter brother to Nizami 11. For the last seven yean Alibhai has been placed among America's 20 leading sires.
