CHRISTCHURCH SWORDS CLUB

A donation of £5 5s towards the cost of sending a New Zealand fencing team to the British Empire Games at Vancouver next month will be made by th* Christchurch Swords Club, it was decided at the club’s annual meeting. Simmance; vice-captain, Mrs McElwee; committee, Messrs B. Miller. T. Ewing, J. Matheson, and R. C. Holliss, and Mrs N. Bennett. Opening night will be held on May S.
