Chatterton 31 not out, J^pts oll 13 ) drew with Weedons R.N.Z.AF. 120 for six wickets (Young 31, Ellen 20, Drayton 18 not out; Fronting three for 36). Springston 164 (K. Blackmore 52, L. Jenkin 39, O. Bailey 17; Charlesworth four for 27, Brown three for 61) beat Southbridge 156 (Brown 54. Charlesworth 51, Freeman 13, Parkin 10 not out; Cotton four for 50, Everest three for 24) on the first innings. Burnham 109 (Bennett 35. Dawson 18 not out; Buckenham six for 41) and 87 for seven wickets declared (Benge 21 not out; Kitching six for 17) beat Dunsandel 62 (Brown 25; Bennett four for 19. Evans four for 39). and 76 for one wicket (Kitching 47 not out. Chamberlain 24 not out) on the first innings.
