AUSTRALIAN GOLD CUP N.Z. TO MEET N.S.W. TEAM ■ TODAY (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 25. The New Zealand polo team will play its first match in Australia tomorrow'. It will meet the New South Wales C team at~ 3.30 p.m., Melbourne time, at the Flemington racecourse. Matches for the Australasian Gold Cup —the New Zealanders' main mission—will be played on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Competing teams, besides New Zealand, are New South Wales A, B, and C, Victoria A and B, Queensland and South Australia. There is still some worry In the New Zealand camp about the condition of the Four of the 18 are making slow progress from a complaint induced by inactivity. They are still on hard feed. The captain, Roy Douglas, of Morrinsville, and other members would have liked to have had more horses with them. “However, 18 was all we could bring, and we were lucky to' bring that many. We will just have to make do,” Douglas said. There are 50 supporters of the New Zealand team staying at Melbourne.
