DAIRY MARKETING PROBLEMS
AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. EXPERTS CONFER
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 25. . . New Zealand and Australian dairy * marketing experts exchanged views in Wellington today on marketing prob- | lems common to both countries. Four delegates from the Australian Dairy Board, Messrs H. E. Elliott, G. L. Hampton, E. G. Roberts, and E. H. Ducros, and a member of the Australian Department of Commerce and Agriculture, Mr R. E. MooKe. spent most of today in conference with the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing Commission. The chairman of the commission (Mr W. Marshall) said that the matters discussed were the changes taking place and foreshadowed in the United Kingdom in the distribution of dairy products, export marketing in countries other than Britain, and joint advertising in Britain. “There was a frank* exchange of views without commitments.” he said, “and as a delegation from each country is expected to be in the United Kingdom in May it was arranged that there would be further talks in London.
