CHALLENGE CUP WON BY B. YOUfJG The annual sports and gymkhana of the St. Patrick’s Sports . Association was held at South Bay Domain, Kaikoura. The programme comprised athletics, bushcraft, and trotting events. An exhibiton of jigger-board chopping was given by R. Hunt (West Coast). The challenge cup for the most points in the athletics and bushcraft sections was won by Barry Young (Kaikoura) with six points. Results were as follows: / Athletics 100 Yards Maiden Handicap.—G.
