CZECH TRAIN EXPLOSION

‘ LONDON, Feb. 17. Reuter’s correspondent in Vienna says that Czechoslovakian railway officials commenting on an explosion in a railway coach said that reports that the coach was totally wrecked were exaggerated.

They were replying to inquiries from Vienna after a report appeared in a Vienna Socialist newspaper, “Weltpresse am Abend,” that a coach of a kind reserved for a high party of government officials was wrecked and set alight. One passenger travelling to Rome was seriously injured, said the newspaper. The Vienna correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” said that Mr Bogomolov, the former Soviet Ambassador in Prague, is believed to have been one of the three prominent passengers in the coach the explosion. He was recently appointed Soviet Ambassador to Rome.
