CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The day in Christchurch yesterday was fine, with a moderate north-west wind •nd a maximum temperature of 73.5 degrees. At midnight the sky was almost overcast and a strong south-west wind was blowing. The temperature was 55.4 degrees. The barometer, at 29.2 S inches (991.6 millibars), was rising unsteadily.
