BROADCAST OF TEST MATCH

SINGING OF WELSH CROWD TO BE HEARD (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 17. New Zealanders will be able to hear the singing of the Welsh crowd before the All Blacks play their first international match. The 8.8. C. has granted a request from the New Zealand Broadcasting Service to commence the broadcast at 2.15 am. on Sunday, a quarter of an hour before the match begins. New 1 Zealand national stations will remain on the air for the match.

A preview of the Welsh side will be given by Don Hayward, a former Welsh international now living in Wellington, and Wilf Woolier will preview the game itself from Wales. The receiving station at Makara reports that reception conditions for the broadcast are expected to be goed.
