NEW YORK. December 2. The prized television annual aW^ r ®’ the so-called “Oscar” of the industry, went to the British Broadcasting corporation for its Coronation films, me 8.8. C. being joined with the Cahadia Broadcasting Company and a Unite States network for “timely coverage.” The dignity and good tasw of the films were praised. _ . The awards (financed by the vania Electrical Products Company were made by an independent comim " tee of 16 judges headed by Mr Deem Taylor, a musician and composer. The citation said: “Interested Amer can televiewers saw the first films ? the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth tm year within a matter of hours an the event took place. It was close the electronic miracle workers na brought us to trans-Atlantic telcj l^1 to date, and certainly a wonder oi pr duction in itself.”
