PRICE FOR DAIRY PRODUCTS
ADJUSTMENT TO BE MADE SOON (New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, December 1. An announcement of an adjustment in the guaranteed price for dairy products would be made about the end of the week by the Dairy Products Marketing Commission, said the Dominion vice-president of Federated Farmers (Mr L. D. Hickford) at Okato tonight. Next week representatives of etnployers and farm workers would meet at Wellington to discuss and fix the new wage rates in the light of the Arbitration Court’s wage order, Mr Hickford added. The adjustment in the guaranteed price was necessary because the labour reward to farmers and farm workers formed part of its structure.
