MOTOR CAR RACE AT ARDMORE

WELLINGTON ENTRANTS BUY MACHINES (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 30. Three racing cars to compete in the New Zealand Gold Cup event at Ardmore. Auckland, on January 9 will reach Wellington tomorrow from London for Wellington entrants. They are two Cooper racing cars and a P 3 Alfa-Romeo. One of the Coopers, which has highpowered light, air-cooled motors, will be driven at Areimore by an Irish racing motorist, W. Lee, now of Wellington, holder of several British hill-climbing records. The Alfa-Romeo is for J. McMillan, of Island Bay.
