ITALIAN CIRCLE

The Italian Circje, which was formed by former servicemen who were in Italv during World War 11, recently held its final meeting for the year. The Rev. Kenneth Schollar, Royal New Zealand Air Force, presided. Although it is a new social activity of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association, the circle has had an increase in its membership, and members are able to enjoy the many talks and discussions which are held in the Italian language. A keen interest in this new venture has been shown by the Italian Legation at Wellington. A visit to the circle has been promised by Dr. Renzo Padovan. a lecturer in the Italian language at Victoria University College.
