AEROPLANE SCHEDULES INTERRUPTED

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 29. The B.C.P.A. airliner, which normally lands at Whenuapai at 5.55 p.m. oh Sunday, is now expected to arrive about 6 p.m. tomorrow. It is understood, the aircraft was late leaving Sydney for San Francisco last week and is now running 24 hours late on her outward journey. Heavy waves and a strong wind in Evans Bay compelled the flying-boat Awatere to be diverted to Auckland on her arrival from Sydney at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday. The aircraft had been held at Sydney for seven hours because of a bad weather forecast for Wellington.
